Where OnCape is Gulliver?
How to play and game rules

How to Play:

  1. Gulliver gets his photo taken at businesses and locations all over Cape Cod and his photo is posted on the OnCape site.
  2. We’ll post a new photo and pick a winner at least once/week beginning week of 6/22/2008.
  3. You look for Gulliver’s picture in the photo galleries on the OnCape.com web site.  When you find him, click on the box on the upper right corner of the web page that says “Click here to play Where OnCape is Gulliver.”
  4. Clicking the box will bring you to this page so you can enter your information and tell us the name and town of the business where Gulliver is pictured that week.
  5. If the business name and town are correct, your name will be entered into a drawing that week for a $10, $20 or $25 gift certificate to the business (where Gulliver’s photo was taken).
  6. Look for clues in ads for the Game and on the OnCape Pages in the Cape Cod Times.
  7. Each week, the business location telling where OnCape is Gulliver will be posted along with the winner’s name and prize info.
  8. All qualified entries from each week will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a weekend for 2 at Pleasant Bay Village. 

Rules:

  1. No purchase or entry fee is required for participation.
  2. Contest period:  June 21 through September 1, 2008.
  3. 1 winner will be chosen per week by random drawing from all qualified entries submitted that week and notified by e-mail and telephone.
  4. Contest is open to residents of the U.S. 18 years of age or older except for employees of the Cape Cod Times, Ottaway Inc, or Dow Jones and their affiliates.
  5. Form must be completed in full with valid email address and entered online via submission form at OnCape.com/WheresGulliver.
  6. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent by winner to the use of their name and/or likeness by Cape Cod Media Group for editorial or promotional purposes.
  7. Cape Cod Media Group reserves the right to alter, enhance, amend or terminate this contest at anytime.
  8. Winners are solely responsible for all taxes and/or fees that may be incurred. Upon proper verification, prize certificates will be picked up by the winner at the Cape Cod Media Group offices at 319 Main Street, Hyannis.
  9. Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings.
  10. Cape Cod Media Group, Cape Cod Media Group sponsors, nor employees of Cape Cod Media Group or sponsors may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of any winners of a prize once possession has been taken of the product by winner. Cape Cod Media Group is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with or resulting from any contest.
  11. If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Cape Cod Media Group may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
  12. If foul play is suspected, you will be disqualified.
  13. Contest is void where prohibited by law.
  14. Odds of winning determined by number of entries received.
